MOONG DAL HALWA
Ingredients:
Milk – 300 ml
Besan – 2 teaspoon
Ghee- 200 grams
Moong daal dhuli- 200 grams (soaked overnight or min 3-4 hours and make a coarse paste)
Yellow Color (edible) – few drops
Sugar – 200 grams
Dry Fruits – finely chopped
Khoya – 200 grams
Elachi dana – 2-4
Method:
In a kadai, heat desi ghee
Add besan
Add moong daal paste
Stir fry regularly until it changes its colour to golden brown
In a different kadai, stir fry khoya
Add khoya to the in the kadai of moong dal
Add sugar
Put few drops of yellow color
Add dry fruits
Stir fry it vigorously
