MALPUAS


MALPUAS





Ingrédients:

Milk – 750 ml
Maida – 1 cup
Suji – ½ cup
Elachi powder – 1tbsp
Desi ghee- for frying
Sugar – 500 grams
Water – ½ cup
Kewra essence – 5-6 drops
Almonds – 10
Pista – 10
Silver foil – 2


Method:

Boil milk and keep on stirring till half the quantity is left
If milk is quite thick, remove from fire
Cool it
Sieve maida and suji
Mix in thicken milk
Leave it for 15 minutes
Make syrup by mixing water and sugar
Keep on fire till it is one thread consistency
Remove from fire
When cool, add kewra essence
Put 1 tbsp ghee on a non stick pan
Put 2-3 tbsp batter spread it
When the side are cooked, put in sugar
Sprinkles chopped pista, almonds, elachi powder and apply silver foil
Serve hot
