MILK CAKE
Ingredients:
Full cream milk – 1 ½ litre
Sugar – 100 grams
Alum (phitkari) – 2 pinch
Method:
Boil the milk
When it starts boiling.
Add the alum powder (a pinch)
Heat on high flame & go on stirring until it reduced to half
Add sugar & keep on cooking till it I quite thick
Spread this mixture on a well greased plate (aluminum) or thali
Keep some mixture in kadai itself
In a separate pan, caramelize the sugar (roast dry)
Mix it with mixture in kadai & spread this brown mix over the white m ixture and allow to cool for 6-7 hours in fridge.
