EGGLESS FRUIT CAKE


EGGLESS FRUIT CAKE




Ingredients:

Milkmaid- 1 tin
Maida – 200 grams
Soda- ¾ teaspoon
Baking powder – ¾ teaspoon
Butter- 100 grams
Vanilla essence- 1 teaspoon
Soft drink – 150 ml


Method:

Seive maida, soda, baking powder twice
Rub maida and bitter till bread crumbled consistency
Mix milkmaid
Put vanilla essence
Add to the flour
Mix well
Add the soft drink
Mix well
Cut dry fruits (almonds, walnuts, raisins, cashews and tutty fruity)
Mix well
Sprinkle a little dry maida over it
Mix it well
Add this to the cake mixture
Coat it in a greased and dusted tin
Preheat the over at 150 c for 8-10 minutes.
Put the filled tin in the oven
Bake it in a an oven at 150 c for 10 minutes
When batter rises, decrease the temperature to 100 c.
Check the cake with any pointed things to know it’s properly cooked.
If its still not yet cooked properly, keep the temperature for 50 c for again 10 minutes
Switch off the oven and leave the cake at the oven for some time.
