MARBLE CAKE

MARBLE CAKE







Ingredients:

4 eggs
150 grams butter
250 grams sugar
250 grams maida
Few drops of vanilla essence
2 teaspoon coco powder
¾ tp chocolate powder
1 tp of baking powder
Milk as required

Preparation of Tin:

Before we prepare the mixture, we have to take a tin and apply butter all over the base and sides. After that, sprinkle some maida or flour at the base of the tin and do the dusting with flour at all the sides by moving the tin sandwich all over without touching by hand.


Method:

Sieve maida and baking powder thrice
Beat sugar and butter till light and fluffy (beat in one direction to incorporate air in it)
Beat egg separately till light and fluffy
Add the eaten eggs to sugar and butter.
Again beat for sometime.
Finally add maida gradually in cut and fold method.
Add milk to the batter so that we get the proper consistency or flowing consistency
Divide this mixture into two equal parts; to one part add vanilla essence in cut and fold method.
To the other part add coco & chocolate powder to get chocolate color of the cake.
Take the two separate mixtures and scoop the batter of vanilla and chocolate with table spoon and place it at the base of tin alternatively and over till the batter is finishes.
Preheat the over at 150 c for 8-10 minutes.
Put the filled tin in the oven
Bake it in a an oven at 150 c for 10 minutes
When batter rises, decrease the temperature to 100 c.
Check the cake with any pointed things to know its properly cooked.
If its still not yet cooked properly, keep he temperature for 50 c for again 10 minutes
Switch off the oven and leave the cake at the oven for some time.
