GULAB JAMUN


GULAB JAMUN



Ingredients:

200 grams Khoya
100 Grams paneer
50 grams – maida
Elachi dana – 8-10
Mishri or broken pieces of batasha
Sugar – 400 grams


Method:

Grate khoya and mash it well
Grate and mah paneer well
Mix well the two together
Add maida
Mix very well
Dough should be soft

Take small pieces of dough
Make it round
Flatten it ; put 2-3 grains of elachi and a small pieces of mishri
Re-shape it
Deep fry on low flame till brown in color
Make syrup with 400 grams of sugar and one glass of water
When the sugar dissolves, add little milk to clean the syrup
Strain ot and put it back on fire till the syrup is ready
After frying the gulab jamun, put it in the syrip for some time
Put it in refrigerator n serve it
